Overview

Infrastructure - Powerlines is part of the Highly Valued Resource or Asset (HVRA) data used in the National Wildfire Risk Assessment for Forest Service Lands (NaWRA, Dillon 2020). Powerlines can be used as a Sub-HVRA within the Map Values, Exposure Analysis and Quantitative Wildfire Risk Assessment functionality within IFTDSS.

Data Details

Powerlines consists of electrical power transmission lines. The source data was downloaded from the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation-Level Data (HIFLD, https://gii.dhs.gov/hifld/) on February 14, 2017. The inactive electrical power transmission lines were excluded for IFTDSS.
