About Batch Monitoring

Batch monitoring provides a streamlined way to enter data for one or more wildfires with a spreadsheet. This speeds the FTEM monitoring for multi-treatment fire(s) by eliminating the need to open and close each individual treatment within the FTEM interface to populate it. This method also provides a convenient way for those who do not have FTEM access to populate monitoring data.

For the batch monitoring process, you select fires of interest, download a spreadsheet containing relevant information, populate the required monitoring fields, and upload the completed spreadsheet back into FTEM.

There are two methods of batch monitoring depending on how you choose to narrow your wildfire list.

  • From the monitoring interface: Use checkboxes in the Wildfire list to select the fires you need to monitor, then generate a fillable spreadsheet to monitor those fires.

  • From the reporting interface: Use a series of report filters to generate a fillable spreadsheet to monitor those fires.
