Exposure Analysis

Exposure Analysis (EA) is the first of three main inputs required to conduct the Quantitative Wildfire Risk Assessment (QWRA). In IFTDSS, the EA provides all the necessary Landscape Burn Probability and Highly Valued Resources or Assets (HVRA) data required to conduct the QWRA. Once the EA is selected the Response Functions and Relative Importance inputs for the analysis can be populated.

Exposure Analysis is an assessment of wildfire hazard—likelihood and intensity—where HRVAs are located.

Exposure is one phase of a quantitative wildfire risk assessment.

See the Exposure Analysis section for full details about this analysis and how to conduct it.
